Engineer or CEP Electrical designer

Your new role as electrical designer-draftsman

Within the engineering department, your role is to carry out electrical design, control panel drawings, and electrical installation drawings. You will be responsible for your projects and will provide support during the production, installation, and commissioning of the electrical panels that you design.

Your day-to-day:

  • Perform electrical design for automated solutions;
  • Advise clients on appropriate technological choices;
  • Develop electrical drawings using Eplan software;
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for panel assembly;
  • Participate in project coordination meetings;
  • Monitor and support production during the fabrication and assembly of projects;
  • Address specific customer needs.

The desired profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automated production engineering, or related field;
  • Two (2) years or more of experience in electrical design and drawings;
  • Knowledge of E-Plan drawing software (an asset);
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) (an asset);
  • Collaborative spirit and willingness to share knowledge;
  • Autonomous and committed to producing quality work.
